There's much to do in what can feel like too little time
And yet I'm the conductor of how I spend most of mine
And so I take a big slurp of crisp fresh air
And declare within myself that I'll give attention to that which I care
I focus my energy, attention and soul
On that sweet precious thing, inner peace and silence; my goal
I suck in trust and connect to the pit of my gut
Craving simplicity in times I feel stuck in a rut
I tune in and sense that unique spirit in me
And its there I find that place to be free
That's it! My Blog post for this month, a poem I've whipped up in under 10 minutes. I've done an amazing thing you see, I've allowed myself to show up what in feels like a small yet potent way. Finding simplicity in what can sometimes turn into a mammoth job (where I typically write and write and write about all the things I ever wanted to write about).
I'll leave you now with one of my favourite sounds in the whole wide world; being that of the NZ Native Birdsong. WARNING: They're noisy wee buggars! It's one of the things I love yet miss so much about home.
Happy weekend all, I appreciate you & send so much love
